Summary

When the Court is satisfied that the foreign award can be enforced under this Chapter, the award is treated as if it were a decree of that Court. This means the award gets the same legal status and enforceability as a court judgment, allowing it to be executed in the same manner.

Where the Court is satisfied that the foreign award is enforceable under this Chapter, the award shall be deemed to be a decree of that Court.
