Summary

Sub-section (1) allows the Central Government to issue orders, published in the Official Gazette, to resolve any difficulty that arises in implementing this Act. Such orders must not conflict with the Act's provisions and can include whatever arrangements the government considers necessary or appropriate to remove the difficulty. However, no such order can be issued after two years from the date this Act comes into force.

Sub-section (2) requires that every order made under this section be placed before both Houses of Parliament as soon as possible after it is issued.

(1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the Central Government may, by order published in the Official Gazette, make such provisions, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act as appear to it to be necessary or expedient for removing the difficulty:

Provided that no such order shall made be after the expiry of a period of two years from the date of commencement of this Act.

(2) Every order made under this section shall, as soon as may be after it is made, be laid before each Houses of Parliament.
