Summary

If an accused person admits to being guilty, the Magistrate must write down that admission. After recording the plea, the Magistrate has the choice to convict the person based on that admission.

Official Text

If the accused pleads guilty, the Magistrate shall record the plea and may, in his discretion, convict him thereon.
