Summary
After the prosecution finishes presenting its case, the accused person is asked to begin their defence and present any evidence they have. The same rules that apply to the prosecution's evidence under section 266 also apply to the defence's evidence.

The accused shall then be called upon to enter upon his defence and produce his evidence; and the provisions of section 266 shall apply to the case. C.—Conclusion of trial
