Summary

If an accused person who wants to appeal is in jail, they can give their appeal petition and any required copies to the jail officer in charge. That officer must then send those documents to the correct court that will hear the appeal.

Official Text

If the appellant is in jail, he may present his petition of appeal and the copies accompanying the same to the officer in charge of the jail, who shall thereupon forward such petition and copies to the proper Appellate Court.
