Summary

A warrant issued by a court under the specified clause can be carried out within that court's own local area. However, if the property to be attached and sold is located outside that area, the warrant will only allow the attachment and sale if it is signed by the District Magistrate of the area where the property is found.

Official Text

A warrant issued under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 461 by any Court may be executed within the local jurisdiction of such Court, and it shall authorise the attachment and sale of any such property outside such jurisdiction, when it is endorsed by the District Magistrate within whose local jurisdiction such property is found.
