BNSS Section 496 — Power to direct levy of amount due on certain recognizances

Summary

The High Court or Court of Session can order a Magistrate to collect the money owed under a bond that was given to guarantee someone's appearance or attendance at that High Court or Court of Session.

The High Court or Court of Session may direct any Magistrate to levy the amount due on a bond for appearance or attendance at such High Court or Court of Session.
