BNSS Section 512 — Defect or error not to make attachment unlawful

Summary

If a property is attached under this law, that attachment will not be considered illegal just because there was a mistake or missing detail in the summons, conviction, or other related paperwork. The person who carried out the attachment will also not be treated as a trespasser because of such a defect.

No attachment made under this Sanhita shall be deemed unlawful, nor shall any person making the same be deemed a trespasser, on account of any defect or want of form in the summons, conviction, writ of attachment or other proceedings relating thereto.
