Summary

The person who is holding an accused person in custody must take reasonable care of that person's health and safety. This means they have a duty to look after the accused's well-being while they are in custody.

Official Text

It shall be the duty of the person having the custody of an accused to take reasonable care of the health and safety of the accused.
