General

Summary

An accomplice is allowed to give evidence in court against the person accused of the crime. A conviction is legally valid even if it is based on the testimony of an accomplice, as long as that testimony is supported by other independent evidence that confirms it.

Official Text

An accomplice shall be a competent witness against an accused person; and a conviction is not illegal if it proceeds upon the corroborated testimony of an accomplice.
