CHAPTER V OF DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE
General
Summary
Documents must be proved by primary evidence, which means the original document itself must be presented in court. This rule applies unless one of the exceptions mentioned later in the Act applies.

Documents shall be proved by primary evidence except in the cases hereinafter mentioned.
