CPC Section 117 — Application of Code to High Courts

This section says that the rules in the Code of Civil Procedure apply to High Courts, except where different rules are given in this Part, in Part X, or in any specific court rules. In other words, the general procedures of the Code are to be followed by High Courts unless a special exception or rule says otherwise.

Save as provided in this Part or in Part X or in rules, the provisions of this Court shall apply to such High Courts.
