CPC Section 147 — Consent or agreement by persons under disability

In any court case where a person who is legally unable to manage their own affairs (such as a minor or someone with a mental disability) is a party, any agreement or consent about the case will be treated as valid and binding if it is given by that person's next friend or court-appointed guardian with the court's explicit permission. This means the consent or agreement will have the same legal effect as if the disabled person themselves had given it without any disability.

In all suits to which any person under disability is a party, any consent or agreement, as to any proceeding shall, if given or made with the express leave of the Court by the next friend or guardian for the suit, have the same force and effect as if such person, were under no disability and had given such consent or made such agreement.
