Summary

If a court sets a deadline for doing something that is required or allowed under this Code, the court has the power to extend that deadline. It can do this multiple times, but the total extension cannot be more than 30 days. This is true even if the original deadline has already passed.

Where any period is fixed or granted by the Court for the doing of any act prescribed or allowed by this Code, the Court may, in its discretion, from time to time, enlarge such period, not exceeding thirty days in total, even though the period originally fixed or granted may have expired.
