This section says that even though the Code of Civil Procedure gives courts many specific powers, it does not take away the court's basic authority to pass orders that are needed to achieve justice or to stop someone from misusing the court's process. This means the court can still act in situations not covered by the Code if fairness requires it.

Nothing in this Code shall be deemed to limit or otherwise affect the inherent power of the Court to make such orders as may be necessary for the ends of justice or to prevent abuse of the process of the Court.
