CHAPTER IX ACCOUNTS OF COMPANIES

Summary

The Central Government may require certain classes of unlisted companies, as may be prescribed, to prepare their financial results on a periodical basis and in a specific form as prescribed.

Under clause (a), these companies must prepare financial results periodically, with the form and frequency set by government rules.

Under clause (b), the company must obtain approval of its Board of Directors for these periodical financial results, and also complete an audit or a limited review of them, in the manner prescribed.

Under clause (c), a copy of these financial results must be filed with the Registrar within thirty days of the end of the relevant period, along with any prescribed fees.

The Central Government may, require such class or classes of unlisted companies, as may be prescribed,—

(a) to prepare the financial results of the company on such periodical basis and in such form as may be prescribed;

(b) to obtain approval of the Board of Directors and complete audit or limited review of such periodical financial results in such manner as may be prescribed; and

(c) file a copy with the Registrar within a period of thirty days of completion of the relevant period with such fees as may be prescribed.]
