Summary
Registering a company under this Part does not change any rights or liabilities the company already has. This includes debts, obligations, or contracts that were made by, to, with, or on behalf of the company before it was registered. In other words, registration does not wipe out or alter the company’s pre-existing legal commitments.
Official Text
The registration of a company in pursuance of this Part shall not affect its rights or liabilities in respect of any debt or obligation incurred, or any contract entered into, by, to, with, or on behalf of, the company before registration.
