Summary
Under clause (a), the Chairperson is the person who heads the Appellate Tribunal.
Under clause (b), a Judicial Member is a member of the Tribunal or the Appellate Tribunal who was appointed in that judicial role, and this term also includes the President of the Tribunal or the Chairperson of the Appellate Tribunal, depending on which body is being referred to.
Under clause (c), a Member is any member of the Tribunal or the Appellate Tribunal, whether appointed as a Judicial Member or a Technical Member, and this term also includes the President or the Chairperson, as the case may be.
Under clause (d), the President is the head of the Tribunal.
Under clause (e), a Technical Member is a member of the Tribunal or the Appellate Tribunal who was appointed in that technical role.

In this Chapter, unless the context otherwise requires,—
(a) “Chairperson” means the Chairperson of the Appellate Tribunal;
(b) “Judicial Member” means a member of the Tribunal or the Appellate Tribunal appointed as such and includes the President or the Chairperson, as the case may be;
(c) “Member” means a member, whether Judicial or Technical of the Tribunal or the Appellate Tribunal and includes the President or the Chairperson, as the case may be;
(d) “President” means the President of the Tribunal;
(e) “Technical Member” means a member of the Tribunal or the Appellate Tribunal appointed as such.
