The shares, debentures, or other interests that a member holds in a company are considered movable property. This means they can be transferred, but only in the way that the company’s articles (its internal rules) specify.

The shares or debentures or other interest of any member in a company shall be movable property transferable in the manner provided by the articles of the company.
