Constitution Section 144 — Civil and judicial authorities to act in aid of the Supreme Court

Summary

All government offices and courts across India must help and support the Supreme Court in carrying out its work. This means they are required to follow and enforce the orders and decisions made by the Supreme Court.

Official Text

All authorities, civil and judicial, in the territory of India shall act in aid of the Supreme Court.
