Part XIV — SERVICES UNDER THE UNION AND THE STATES — CHAPTER II.— PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSIONS
Administrative Law
Summary
The expenses of a Union or State Public Service Commission, including salaries, allowances, and pensions for its members and staff, are paid directly from the Consolidated Fund of India or the relevant state's Consolidated Fund. This means these costs are automatically covered without needing a separate vote or approval from the legislature each time.
Official Text
The expenses of the Union or a State Public Service Commission, including any salaries, allowances and pensions payable to or in respect of the members or staff of the Commission, shall be charged on the Consolidated Fund of India or, as the case may be, the Consolidated Fund of the State.
