Summary

The Constitution guarantees that the State of Goa must have at least 30 members in its Legislative Assembly. This rule applies even if other parts of the Constitution would normally allow for a smaller number.

Notwithstanding anything in this Constitution, the Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa shall consist of not less than thirty members.
