Constitution Section 41 — Right to work, to education and to public assistance in certain cases

Summary

The government must try to provide work, education, and help to people who are unemployed, old, sick, or disabled, and to others who are in genuine need. However, this duty depends on how much money and development the country has at that time.

Official Text

The State shall, within the limits of its economic capacity and development, make effective provision for securing the right to work, to education and to public assistance in cases of unemployment, old age, sickness and disablement, and in other cases of undeserved want.
