CHAPTER III CENRAL CONSUMER PROTECTION AUTHORITY

Summary

Sub-section (1) requires the Central Authority to prepare an annual report once every year. The report must be in the form, manner, and at the time prescribed by rules, and it must give a full account of the Authority's activities during the previous year. The Authority must also prepare any other reports and returns as directed, and forward copies of all these reports and returns to the Central Government.

Sub-section (2) states that once the Central Government receives the annual report, a copy of it must be placed before each House of Parliament as soon as possible after it is received.

(1) The Central Authority shall prepare once in every year, in such form, manner and at such time as may be prescribed, an annual report giving full account of its activities during the previous year and such other reports and returns, as may be directed, and copies of such report and returns shall be forwarded to the Central Government.

(2) A copy of the annual report received under sub-section (1) shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is received, before each House of Parliament.
