Summary

Sub-section (1) says that the State Government decides what kinds of officers and other employees the State Commission needs to help it do its work, and the government provides those staff members to the Commission as it sees fit.

Sub-section (2) states that these officers and other employees carry out their duties under the overall supervision and direction of the President of the State Commission.

Sub-section (3) provides that the salaries, allowances, and other service conditions of these officers and employees are set according to what is prescribed, meaning as specified by the relevant rules or regulations.

Official Text

(1) The State Government shall determine the nature and categories of the officers and other employees required to assist the State Commission in the discharge of its functions and provide the Commission with such officers and other employees as it may think fit.

(2) The officers and other employees of the State Commission shall discharge their functions under the general superintendence of the President.

(3) The salaries and allowances payable to and the other terms and conditions of service of, the officers and other employees of the State Commission shall be such as may be prescribed.
