IEA Section 31 — Admissions not conclusive proof, but may estop

Summary

An admission does not by itself prove that something is true beyond doubt. However, it can prevent the person who made the admission from later denying it, under rules explained later in this law.

Admissions are not conclusive proof of the matters admitted but they may operate as estoppels under the provisions hereinafter contained.
