Summary

If someone has committed an offence, any person who hides or shelters that offender, knowing or having reason to believe they are the offender, and does so with the aim of protecting them from being punished by law, is covered by this section.

Whenever an offence has been committed, whoever harbours or conceals a person whom he knows or has reason to believe to be the offender, with the intention of screening him from legal punishment;
