Summary

The term "movable property" covers all physical objects that can be moved, but it does not include land or anything attached to the earth, such as buildings or trees. It also excludes items that are permanently fixed to something that is attached to the earth, like a house or a fence.

Official Text

The words “movable property” are intended to include corporeal property of every description, except land and things attached to the earth or permanently fastened to anything which is attached to the earth.
