Summary
If a person shows a fake light, sign, or floating marker in a waterway, and they intend or know that it is likely to mislead someone navigating a boat or ship, that person can be punished. The punishment can be imprisonment for up to seven years, a fine, or both.

Whoever exhibits any false light, mark or buoy, intending or knowing it to be likely that such exhibition will mislead any navigator, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, or with fine, or with both.
