Summary

Whoever keeps a person locked up or trapped against their will for ten days or longer commits an offence. The punishment for this can be imprisonment for up to three years, along with a fine.

Official Text

Whoever wrongfully confines any person for ten days, or more, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, and shall also be liable to fine.
