Every person is legally capable of making a contract if they meet three conditions: they have reached the age of majority under the law that applies to them, they are of sound mind, and they are not barred from contracting by any law that applies to them.

Every person is competent to contract who is of the age of majority according to the law to which he is subject3, and who is of sound mind, and is not disqualified from contracting by any law to which he is subject.
