Summary
In the absence of any contract to the contrary, the bailee is bound to deliver to the bailor, or according to his directions, any increase or profit which may have accrued from the goods bailed. This means that unless the parties have agreed otherwise, the person holding the goods (the bailee) must hand over to the owner (the bailor), or follow the owner's instructions about, any extra value or benefit that comes from the goods while they are in the bailee's possession.
