Summary

When you approve or accept an unauthorized act that was done on your behalf, you are also approving the entire transaction that the act was part of. You cannot pick and choose only the parts you like; ratifying one part means you accept the whole deal.

A person ratifying any unauthorized act done on his behalf ratifies the whole of the transaction of which such act formed a part.
