Summary
When a promise must be performed on a specific day, and the person making the promise has agreed to do it without being asked by the person to whom it is owed, the promisor can perform it at any time during the normal business hours of that day. The performance must also happen at the place where the promise is supposed to be carried out.

When a promise is to be performed on a certain day, and the promisor has undertaken to perform it without application by the promisee, the promisor may perform it at any time during the usual hours of business on such day and at the place at which the promise ought to be performed. Illustration
