Summary

Performing the conditions of a proposal counts as accepting that proposal. So, if someone makes an offer that requires you to do something, and you actually do that thing, your action is treated as your acceptance of the offer.

Similarly, if a proposal includes a reciprocal promise—meaning the other side promises to do something in return—and you accept the consideration (the benefit or value) offered with that proposal, that acceptance also counts as accepting the proposal itself. In both cases, your conduct, rather than a spoken or written reply, is enough to form an agreement.

Performance of the conditions of a proposal, or the acceptance of any consideration for a reciprocal promise which may be offered with a proposal, is an acceptance of the proposal.
