Summary

The Limitation Act, 1963 sets the time limits within which legal appeals must be filed. This section says that those time limits will apply to appeals made to the Appellate Tribunal, to the extent they can be applied in that context. In simple terms, if you want to appeal to the Appellate Tribunal, you must do so within the time period allowed under the Limitation Act, unless that Act's rules are not suitable for such appeals.

The provisions of the Limitation Act, 1963 (36 of 1963), shall, as far as may be, apply to an appeal made to the 1[Appellate Tribunal].
