Summary
If an article is found inside a transport vehicle run by the State transport undertaking, and the owner does not claim it within the time period that has been prescribed, the State transport undertaking is allowed to sell that article. The sale must be done in the prescribed manner. After the sale, the money received from the sale, minus any costs that came up because of the sale, will be given to the owner if the owner asks for it.

Where any article found in any transport vehicle operated by the State transport undertaking is not claimed by its owner within the prescribed period, the State transport undertaking may sell the article in the prescribed manner and the sale proceeds thereof, after deducting the costs incidental to sale, shall be paid to the owner on demand.
