Motor Vehicles Act Section 36 — Certain provisions of Chapter II to apply to conductor’s licence

Summary

The provisions of sub-section (2) of section 6, sections 14, 15 and 23, sub-section (1) of section 24, and section 25 of this Act will apply to a conductor's licence in the same way they apply to a driving licence, to the extent that they can be applied. This means the rules about licensing, renewal, and related matters that govern driving licences are also made applicable to conductor's licences, wherever those rules fit the context of a conductor's licence.

The provisions of sub-section (2) of section 6, sections 14, 15 and 23, sub-section (1) of section 24 and section 25 shall, so far as may be, apply in relation to a conductor’s licence, as they apply in relation to a driving licence.
