Summary

If an acceptance of a bill does not state whose honour it is meant for, the law will treat it as being for the honour of the drawer. This means the default assumption is that the acceptance is on behalf of the person who drew the bill.

Where the acceptance does not express for whose honour it is made it shall be deemed to be made for the honour of the drawer.
