Summary

An instrument that is not drawn, made, or made payable in the way described earlier in the law is considered a foreign instrument. This means the law treats it as coming from outside the country, based on how it was created or where it is to be paid.

Any such instrument not so drawn, made or made payable shall be deemed to be a foreign instrument.
