Summary
If a bill of exchange names more than one person as the drawee, and those people are not business partners, each one can accept the bill only for themselves. No one can accept the bill on behalf of any other drawee unless that other person has given them permission to do so.

Where there are several drawees of a bill of exchange who are not partners, each of them can accept it for himself, but none of them can accept it for another without his authority.
