Summary

Unless the buyer and seller have agreed to something different, when goods are delivered to the buyer and the buyer refuses to accept them—and the buyer has the legal right to refuse—the buyer does not have to send the goods back to the seller. Instead, it is enough for the buyer to simply tell the seller that they are refusing to accept the goods.

Unless otherwise agreed, where goods are delivered to the buyer and he refuses to accept them, having the right so to do, he is not bound to return them to the seller, but it is sufficient if he intimates to the seller that he refuses to accept them.
