Summary

The State Government, after consulting the Chief Justice of the High Court, will officially announce one or more Civil Courts as Special Courts through a public notice. These Special Courts will have the authority to handle and decide lawsuits filed under this Act that involve contracts related to infrastructure projects. The courts will operate only within the specific local area mentioned in the notice.

The State Government, in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court, shall designate, by notification published in the Official Gazette, one or more Civil Courts as Special Courts, within the local limits of the area to exercise jurisdiction and to try a suit under this Act in respect of contracts relating to infrastructure projects.
