Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act Section 17 — Exemption of bonafide travelers and lawful consignment

Criminal

Summary

This section is titled "Exemption of bonafide travelers and lawful consignment," but the official text provided is incomplete and contains only fragments of other sections (17-A, 17-B, 17-C, 17-D, and 17-E) that have been inserted into the text. The actual content of Section 17 itself is not present in the provided text.

The text begins with the phrase "Until the State" and then jumps to a heading for Section 17-A about exemption of members of armed forces, followed by headings for Sections 17-B through 17-E dealing with licences for manufacture, exclusive privileges, payment of sums for privileges, and licences for export and import. None of these fragments contain complete provisions that can be explained.

Because the official text of Section 17 is missing, there is no substantive provision to explain. The only complete statement is the heading, which indicates the section deals with exempting bonafide travelers and lawful consignments from the Act's provisions, but the details of that exemption are not available in the text provided.
