Summary

If a gift is given to two or more people and one of them does not accept it, the gift is invalid with respect to the share that the non-accepting person would have received. The gift remains valid for the other recipients who did accept it.

A gift of a thing to two or more donees, of whom one does not accept it, is void as to the interest which he would have taken had he accepted.
