Summary

A police officer who has the power to arrest someone without a warrant can chase that person into any part of India to make the arrest. This means the officer is not limited to their own area or jurisdiction when following a suspect.

Official Text

A police officer may, for the purpose of arresting without warrant any person whom he is authorised to arrest, pursue such person into any place in India.
