BNSS Section 527 — Public servant concerned in sale not to purchase or bid for property

Summary

A public official who is responsible for selling property under this law is not allowed to buy or bid for that property themselves. This rule prevents conflicts of interest and ensures the sale process is fair.

Official Text

A public servant having any duty to perform in connection with the sale of any property under this Sanhita shall not purchase or bid for the property.
