BSA Section 76 — Proof of documents by production of certified copies

Summary

Certified copies of a public document may be used as evidence to prove what is written in the original public document or in the relevant part of it, provided the copy is presented as a true copy of that document.

Official Text

Such certified copies may be produced in proof of the contents of the public documents or parts of the public documents of which they purport to be copies.
