Companies Act Section 154 — Allotment of Director Identification Number

Summary

The Central Government must allot a Director Identification Number to an applicant within one month of receiving the application made under section 153. The allotment is to be done in the manner that is prescribed by the rules.

Official Text

The Central Government shall, within one month from the receipt of the application under section 153, allot a Director Identification Number to an applicant in such manner as may be prescribed.
