The provisions of section 250 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 apply in the same way to compensation for accusation without reasonable cause before the Special Court or the Court of Session. This means the rules for awarding compensation when someone is accused without reasonable grounds, as set out in that section of the criminal procedure code, are used here as well.

The provisions of section 250 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) shall apply mutatis mutandis to compensation for accusation without reasonable cause before the Special Court or the Court of Session.
